Dear Friends and Guests of Sushi Village,
Thank you for your patience and commitment to our business as we work through these trying and uncertain times. We appreciate the constant community support as we continue to adapt our business to provide you with fresh, healthy, and delicious sushi options. As we begin to start our reopening for in-house dining, it’s important to update our guests with our Health and Safety Procedures that are in place to ensure that we are offering a safe and inviting dining atmosphere.
Regular handwashing is one of the best ways to remove germs, avoid getting sick, and prevent the spread of illness and germs to others. A timer will be set that will go off in 30 minute intervals. As the timer goes off, all Sushi Village team members will be required to wash their hands following procedures set out by Vancouver Coastal Health. There will also be hand sanitizer available for use by all team members and guests. As guests enter our restaurant we kindly ask that you use our sanitizer for the safety of our team, yourself, and the other guests.
We have changed the flow of our entrances and exits to adhere to the proper social distancing measures. There will also be markers on the floor with directional arrows to ensure distancing is maintained during your visit. Unfortunately, our sushi bar will not be available for seating, but we have outfitted our tatami rooms to comply with WorkSafeBC rules, and ensure that a 6 foot partition is present between rooms.
We have limited the number of guests to 50% of our capacity, and we will only allow groups up to 6 to dine with us. Reservations will still be accepted and are encouraged. This will help us to ensure we are staying within our new seating capacity.
As COVID-19 updates are released from the provincial government, we will continue to follow and modify our safe working procedures to ensure that we are adhering to the outlined rules and regulations. We hope that with measures in place you will join us for your favourite roll, and have the confidence and understanding that we are doing our best to reduce risk and keep everyone safe, while still offering a memorable Sushi Village dining experience. The safety of our team members and guests is of utmost importance.

During Phase 2 of the BC Restart Plan we will be only seating our restaurant to 50% occupancy.
Come in and chat with the host. They will give you an estimated wait time for a table, at which time you can wander the beautiful Whistler Village until we are ready for you. No lounge seating or drinks service will be provided due to distancing measures.
Sushi Village happily accepts dinner reservations for groups of 4 – 6 persons.

No bookings for more than 6 will be taken during Phase 2 of the BC Restart Plan. We love to accommodate all parties but all distancing and max group numbers will be strictly enforced. We would love to ‘squeeze’ one more into your tatami room but during this phase we will strictly decline if your group is already at capacity.
Sushi Village asks that you arrive on time for your reservation. We will only hold reservations for 10 minutes, and we need your entire group present to be seated, or to adjust and/or make changes to your booking. Also, we give all reservations a leisurely 90 minutes of dining time with us.
During Phase 2 of the BC Restart Plan we will not be accepting Group Reservations at this time.
